When signing up, please do so in PM. I need to know which two characters you're using, the relationship they share, a little bit about their strengths and weaknesses (in case I haven't played the game they're from), and a skit to see what the characters are like.

Updates:
An update pops up like this...
*run down the street to bags*
1st Artemis & Carson (Kitty Pryde1)
then I would post in my following post...
*Run down the street to bags*
It's simple, as you only need to post what you are told to in an update. With the exception of money used in transport (which requires math as shown below), all updates are copy and paste. When teams, get to a roadblock or detour, they will be told to do a certain task..
Examples:
Luck Tasks
(*Post Search through Keg (1-1000)*
Research Tasks
(Search through a South African Mall's Website and buy $500 worth of items)
Writing Tasks
(Make a poem about Stalin)
Speed Tasks
(Post *Make Waffle #* 20 times as fast as possible)
If you have more questions, you can PM me and ask me. I also would recommend you to check out the previous virtual races to see what types of tasks there are and how updates work.
Roadblocks:
Unlike previous races where I've felt that roadblocks have always seemed kinda pointless, because it's basically a time for doing a regular task, only without the interaction between team members, your choices for who performs a roadblock WILL matter in this race. Each team member will be labelled as Easy or Hard in terms of what their skill for each roadblock might be. This will be determined pre-race by me picking which player I think would do better at a task. I don't rig it, I swear. I'll be as objective as humanly possible. Now, if the Easy member is chosen to do a roadblock, that person will have an easier task than if the Hard member (HahaHA, innuendo) is chosen. An example would be is if in a luck task, there are 3 hidden clues in a group of 15. If the hard member does it, then they have to find one of 3, but if the easy member does the task, then they have double the potential clues.
Money:
Money will remain the same. You use currency in the season to pay for transportation. Money carries over from round to round so you can save up for when it really counts. Money with the exception of certain legs, will be given to you when you arrive at the airport. If you don't know how to use money it looks like this:
Let's say you have $12 and you are given these options in an update:
*Taxi to the Space Needle* (-20)
*Take the subway to the Space Needle* (-15)
*Bus to the Space Needle* (-10)
Then you would post whichever option you want. As you cannot go bankrupt, your choice is limited to the bus. So, in your next post following this update, you will post:
*Bus to the Space Needle* (-10)
12 - 10 = 2
Money can be exchanged at any time. Due to the video game nature of the game, I will be creating an exchange rate. For example, if I were to go to the Zelda universe, I would say something like this:
$1 = 250 Rupees
Keep in mind, you should always round UP when you have decimal places in your cash.
You will not be allowed to beg or receive money from anyone.
Money given at the start of the leg will be the same for everyone, with the exception of a $5 bonus for anyone who gets a title quote.
NELs:
There are several NELs this season. In this season, there will be a speed bump penalty for teams. The NELs will be randomly determined so teams should expect to come when least expected.
U-Turns:
There will be several yields on the race, but I haven't planned the race out completely just yet, so I'll announce how many there are once the first one occurs.
Those are the rules, so please sign up, and if you have any questions, just ask and I'll be happy to answer to the best of my abilities.
