It's simple, as you only need to post what you are told to in an update. With the exception of money used in transport (which requires math as shown below), all updates are copy and paste. When teams, get to a roadblock or detour, they will be told to do a certain task..

Money:
Money will remain the same. You use currency in the season to pay for transportation. Money carries over from round to round so you can save up for when it really counts. Money with the exception of certain legs, will be given to you when you arrive at the airport. If you don't know how to use money it looks like this:
Let's say you have $12 and you are given these options in an update:
*Taxi to the Space Needle* (-20)
*Take the subway to the Space Needle* (-15)
*Bus to the Space Needle* (-10)
Then you would post whichever option you want. As you cannot go bankrupt, your choice is limited to the bus. So, in your next post following this update, you will post:
*Bus to the Space Needle* (-10)
12 - 10 = 2
Money can be exchanged at any time. You MUST use XE.com to exchange your cash. Obviously, depending on which country you're in, that will be the currency you will use. Exchanging cash looks like this:
$1 -> 4054 Guarani
Keep in mind, you should always round UP when you have decimal places in your cash.
You will not be allowed to beg or receive money from anyone.
Money given at the start of the leg will be determined by the starting amount, quote bonus ($5), an acceptable completion of a storyboard circle ($5 for each), and placing on the previous leg (amount will vary).
NELs:
There are several NELs this season. In this season, there will be a speed bump penalty for teams. The NELs will be randomly determined so teams should expect to come when least expected.
Yields:
The penalty has been shortened to 10 minutes and there are 8 yields in this season.
U-Turns:
8 U-Turns available.
Intersections:
There will be 3 Intersections. As usual, you must pair up with a different team each time.
Superlegs:
There is only 1 traditional superleg this season.
Fair Play Rule:
If for some reason you were skipped ahead one update or you have clear evidence that some team was in the wrong update, and you do not call it before you check in, then the placing STAYS THE SAME. I will not deal with anymore arguments post-race about the accidents that occur. So, if you don't catch it until after you have checked in, then too bad.
New Rules:
Storyboards:
New this season are storyboards. Storyboards are a map that shows the team's storyline that will be continually updated as the team gets further into the season. These are optional, but teams who complete a circle in their storyboard will receive $5 USD for each circle completed in that leg on the next leg. Storyboards are in the vein similar to storylines in ATTAR3, but with less restrictions. Now, I will not offer any suggestions for story arcs as teams will have to be creative enough to create their own. On each storyboard the team will receive are 12 circles that represent a step to developing a character. Teams can choose any story they want as long as it makes chronological sense and shows depth. I will be the judge if your storyboard make sense and holder of the bonus money.
Example (Read from top left to right to bottom left to right.):
R&C's story arc in TAR12 provides the best example of how a story show be shown. Teams may put 1-2 spots on their storyboard per leg and should be completed with their 10th or 11th circle by Leg 12. At the conclusion of each leg before the start of the next one, teams should either post their new storyboard update or tell me what to add in their storyboard so I can personally update it.
Those who have Photoshop or Paint should take control of their own storyboard. If they would also help out other racers with their storyboards, it will reduce the amount I have to do given the size of this season's cast.
The winners of each leg (with the exception of people controlling their own storyboard) have the option to tell me how to design their storyboard once. If you get multiple firsts, then you have the option of redesigning your storyboard only twice the entire game.
The point of the storyboard is to have a unique storyline without being one-note or cliche so have fun with it!

I will not deal with anymore arguments post-race about the accidents that occur. So, if you don't catch it until after you have checked in, then too bad.
New Rules:
Storyboards:
New this season are storyboards. Storyboards are a map that shows the team's storyline that will be continually updated as the team gets further into the season. These are optional, but teams who complete a circle in their storyboard will receive $5 USD for each circle completed in that leg on the next leg. Storyboards are in the vein similar to storylines in ATTAR3, but with less restrictions. Now, I will not offer any suggestions for story arcs as teams will have to be creative enough to create their own. On each storyboard the team will receive are 12 circles that represent a step to developing a character. Teams can choose any story they want as long as it makes chronological sense and shows depth. I will be the judge if your storyboard make sense and holder of the bonus money.

R&C's story arc in TAR12 provides the best example of how a story show be shown. Teams may put 1-2 spots on their storyboard per leg and should be completed with their 10th or 11th circle by Leg 12. At the conclusion of each leg before the start of the next one, teams should either post their new storyboard update or tell me what to add in their storyboard so I can personally update it.
Those who have Photoshop or Paint should take control of their own storyboard. If they would also help out other racers with their storyboards, it will reduce the amount I have to do given the size of this season's cast.
The winners of each leg (with the exception of people controlling their own storyboard) have the option to tell me how to design their storyboard once. If you get multiple firsts, then you have the option of redesigning your storyboard only twice the entire game.
The point of the storyboard is to have a unique storyline without being one-note or cliche so have fun with it!
